Where will we march?
Marchers will meet at 1:00 PM (at either Marion Square, Four Corners of Law, or the Visitors Center) and march on sidewalks about a mile to Liberty Square at the South Carolina Aquarium for a 2 PM non-partisan rally.
Do you need volunteers?
Yes! We need lots of volunteers for planning the event and also on the day of the event. If you’d like to volunteer, please let us know.
We’re looking for volunteers who have specialization, as well as the general volunteers. Are you a web designer? PR professional? Fundraiser? Photographer? Social media expert? Event planner? We would love to have you on our team!
Are you a scientist with a particularly interesting job or really cool research? We’d love to talk with you.
What do you need donations for?
Donations will cover the direct costs of the march, especially getting the word out to all science lovers around the lowcountry! Please donate today – even $5 or $10 will help. Funds remaining after the march will be donated to the Lowcountry STEM Collaborative.
Why does my donation say American Humanist Association?
It takes a lot of time to create a non-profit organization. The Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry, a chapter of the American Humanist Association, has generously volunteered to collect March for Science donations. Funds remaining after the march will be donated to the Lowcountry STEM Collaborative.
